• Manages requests for transfers and direct admissions; facilitates provider communication.
• Collects intake data from ED, physician offices, clinics, and referring facilities.
• Coordinates all MD-to-MD acceptance calls and documents outcomes.
• Collaborates on determining patient benefits/eligibility and bed placement.
