Phoenix Children's seeks a Patient Placement Coordinator to support the Connected Care Center in Phoenix. Part-time and full-time roles cover day and night shifts, with no new grads eligible. RN licensure and ER experience are required to guide patient admissions and bed placement.

Qualifications

• RN license required; NO NEW GRADS.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of Emergency Room experience.
• Positions available: FULL TIME and PART TIME; DAY and NIGHT shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all transfers and direct admissions; facilitate provider communication.
• Collect intake data from ED, physician offices, and clinics.
• Document acceptance calls and coordinate with ED admissions.
• Determine patient benefits/eligibility with Placement team.
• Manage ED referrals and maintain bed capacity and throughput.
• Triage and prioritize patient information to assist flow across facilities.

Education

Two year ADN degree in nursing

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

RN to BSN enrollment

Arizona RN license
