Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem RN trainer to provide Face-2-Face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers on finger stick blood sampling, PT/INR equipment use and reporting responsibilities.

The role requires an active RN license with clinical experience and preferred exposure to anticoagulation or homecare. Travel up to 100 miles round trip is expected, with remote locations across the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Active RN license required.
• Direct experience with anticoagulation/homecare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remotely schedule training appointments with customers/caregivers.
• Travel up to 100 miles round trip to customer homes.
• Demonstrate proper use of PT/INR equipment and explain test reporting options.
• Document and submit patient training records electronically.
• Maintain secure communications and protect patient PHI.
• Operate with own computer and printer as needed.
