Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem Trainer to provide Face-2-Face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers on finger stick sampling, PT/INR products, and reporting responsibilities. This role is state/city specific and involves travel to customers' homes.

You must be a current RN with clinical experience; anticoagulation/homecare exposure is preferred. Travel up to 100 miles roundtrip is required; reliable transportation and basic computer/smart device skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Must have clinical experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Direct exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• Health education training experience is a definite plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointments with customers/caregivers.
• Travel to customers' homes within the trainer's geographic area.
• Demonstrate and instruct proper use of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options.
• Present themselves in a professional manner.
• Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically.
• Maintain communications with the company via cell, email, and internet.
