Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem Nurse Trainer to provide Face-2-Face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers on finger stick collection, PT/INR devices, and reporting responsibilities.

The role requires traveling to patients’ homes within the local region, setting up training appointments, and documenting training records securely while maintaining PHI protections and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• The Trainer must have clinical experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Direct exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointments with the customer/caregiver.
• Travel to the customer’s home within the trainer’s general geographic area.
• Demonstrate and instruct on proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options to patients/caregivers.
• Maintain professional appearance and communications with customers.
• Accurately document and submit training records electronically.
• Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health via phone, email and internet access.
• Use secure encrypted email for PHI communications.
