Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem RN Trainer to provide Face-2-Face training to home testing customers on finger-stick sampling, PT/INR equipment use, and reporting tasks. Training is state/city specific with travel to customer homes within the trainer's geographic area.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs with clinical experience; anticoagulation/homecare exposure is preferred. Strong communication, computer proficiency, and ability to document records securely are essential, along with reliable

Qualifications

Must be a current registered nurse with clinical experience.
Direct experience with anticoagulation management or homecare preferred.
Health education training experience is a definite plus.
No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

Remotely set up training appointments with customers/caregivers.
Travel to customers' home settings within the trainer's geographic area.
Demonstrate and instruct on proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
Explain test reporting options.
Document and submit training records electronically.
Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health by phone, email and internet.
Use secure encrypted email for PHI communications.
Have reliable transportation.
