Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem Nurse Trainer to educate home testing customers on finger stick blood sampling, PT/INR device use, and reporting responsibilities. The role travels within the trainer's home geography and is remote and per-diem.

Requirements include an active Registered Nurse license and clinical experience; direct anticoagulation/homecare exposure is preferred. Travel of up to 100 miles roundtrip is expected.

Qualifications

• RN with clinical experience required.
• Direct exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare preferred.
• Health education training experience is a plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointments with customers/caregivers.
• Travel to customers' home settings within the trainer's general geographic location.
• Demonstrate and instruct proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options to customers.
• Document and submit patient training records electronically.
