Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem RN trainer to provide Face-2-Face training for Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers. Training occurs remotely with travel to the customer’s home within the trainer’s geographic region. You will instruct on PT/INR equipment and ensure proper reporting options are understood.

Candidates must be a current RN with clinical experience; anticoagulation/homecare exposure is a plus. Travel up to 100% is required in a flexible, per-diem role.

Qualifications

• The Trainer must have clinical experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN).
• Direct experience/exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• Health education training experience is a definite plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointment with the customer/caregiver.
• Travel to the customer’s home within the trainer’s general geographic location.
• Demonstrate and instruct on proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options.
• Document and submit patient training records electronically.
