Mary Washington Healthcare Incorporated is seeking a Level II Competent Registered Nurse to provide total, patient-centered care in the designated unit, collaborating with the healthcare team and applying evidence-based knowledge.

The RN will lead nursing care using the nursing process, coordinate patient and family involvement, participate in performance improvement, orientation of staff, and contribute to hospital-wide policies.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN license.
• Virginia RN license or reciprocal compact state required.
• BSN is preferred.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• NIHSS (Bluecloud) required at hire.
• 2 years of recent RN acute care experience required.

Aufgaben

• Direct and coordinate nursing care with nursing process and teamwork.
• Coordinate involvement of patient, family and health team in care plan and discharge planning.
• Communicate plan of care to health team members.
• Participate in improving patient care services and standards.
• Contribute to and integrate performance improvement in care delivery.
• Participate in orientation of new staff.
• Act as point of contact on hospital policies to nurses and health team.
• Support daily operational activities for safe patient/staff environment.
• Provide input to Nurse Manager regarding unit needs.
• Participate in committees for nursing and hospital policies.
