Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license (Virginia or compact state).
• BSN preferred.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire; NIHSS (Bluecloud) required within 90 days.
• External Temporary RN: CPI/ONS or NIHSS required within 30 days if listed in job profile.
• TNCC or ENPC required within 30 days or by the next available course for External Temporary RN.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients and supervise licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Coordinate patient/family involvement and discharge planning with the health team.
• Communicate plan of care to all team members and document changes.
