Job summary

UF Health in Florida seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to identify patient health alterations, assess responses to problems, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate outcomes to achieve optimal patient care. The RN will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel, assign and delegate care, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless patient flow and safety.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred for hire.
• Florida RN license currently required.
• Professional nursing board certification preferred within a set time after hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify health alterations and assess patient responses to health problems.
• Implement nursing interventions based on nursing theory and evaluate outcomes.
• Supervise/coordinate care with LPNs and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel.
• Assign/delegate care and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Participate in unit-based activities to promote a positive work environment.
