UF Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a full-time RN to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care. You will assess needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes while collaborating with families and the healthcare team.

The role requires coordinating with LPNs and other professionals to ensure safety and quality, with emphasis on advocacy and positive patient outcomes in a busy clinical setting.

Formación

• BSN preferred at time of hire.
• Nurses hired without a BSN must obtain a BSN within three (3) years of hire.
• Professional nursing board certification preferred at time of hire.
• Nurses hired without a professional nursing board certification must obtain certification after two (2) years of hire, or once eligible for certifications requiring more than two years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patients and identifies actual and potential health concerns.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing interventions and plans of care.
• Involves patients, families, and significant others in assessment, planning, care, and evaluation whenever possible.
• Supervises and directs care provided by LPNs and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel.
• Assigns and delegates patient care to qualified members of the healthcare team.
• Coordinates patient care with other healthcare professionals and disciplines.
• Participates in unit-based activities that promote a positive and professional work environment.
• Provides compassionate, accountable nursing care focused on patient advocacy, collaboration, and optimal patient outcomes.
