Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Active RN license required in state of practice.
• Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Recognizes patients and families in providing safe, compassionate, and coordinated care.
• Communicates with and supports interprofessional teams and services, patient, family and designated care partners. Serves as a clinical resource regarding policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with medical staff to facilitate consistency of interdisciplinary plans of care and optimize patient throughput.
• Provides and manages schedules, resolves issues, and adjusts staffing to meet patient care needs.
• Monitors staff performance and supports changes in clinical practice to meet goals.
• Supports Magnet and Shared Governance through participation in councils and the Clinical Ladder program.
