Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia, PA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse, Coordinator of Patient Care Services, to lead daily operations on a designated unit. You will act as a clinical resource, guide care delivery, and ensure staffing and patient flow align with standards.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will mentor colleagues, support Magnet and Shared Governance initiatives, and contribute to quality outcomes while maintaining compassionate, patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• RN license in PA or NJ (or eligible).
• Strong communication and collaboration with patients, families and interprofessional teams.
• Knowledge of discharge planning and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Acts as resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
• Evaluates patient needs and makes care recommendations.
• Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing and patient care needs.
• Supports nursing professional development and governance through participation in councils and the Clinical Ladder program.
