Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington seeks a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to support perioperative care in Lexington, KY. The role is full-time, first shift (5x8s) with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

The OR nurse will assess patient needs, develop care plans, provide direct intraoperative and postoperative care, and supervise care delivery with a focus on quality and teamwork. On-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating patient care
• Ability to develop and implement patient care plans

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ needs and develop care plans
• Provide direct care before, during and after surgery
• Demonstrate leadership and support for quality care
• Supervise and delegate to PCTs, LPNs, unit secretaries, and students
