Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Surgical Tech-OR for the Operating Room in Lexington, KY. This full-time night shift role supports the perioperative plan of care under RN supervision and participates in aseptic practices and patient care activities.

The position requires a Surgical Technology program credential, an associate or technical diploma, and a current BLS certification (within 30 days of hire). A sign-on bonus is available for qualified individuals.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technology program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; if not held, must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Technical Diploma or Associate degree in Surgical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Performs scrub functions and supports the perioperative plan of care.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique including gowning, gloving, sterilization and disinfection.
• Active participation in unit activities and positive customer interactions.
