Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (Pre-Op) for a part-time second shift to join the Pre-Operative Surgery Unit. The role focuses on preparing patients for surgery with safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, provide direct care, and support a healing environment, with leadership responsibilities and weekend/holiday on-call rotation.

Qualifikationen

• Current RN licensure and work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• ADN graduates with less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.

This unit ensures that patients are physically, emotionally, and administratively ready for their surgery, focusing on safety, efficiency, and comfort.
