Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the 2B ICU. The RN will provide direct, comprehensive patient care and participate in rounds, assessments and treatment plans on a neuro ICU unit.

This full-time role includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, with opportunities for professional growth and a strong benefits package. Kentucky licensure required.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky.
• Nursing degree (Bachelor’s or Associate).
• If ASN and <10 years’ experience, enroll in BSN within 12 months and complete within 5 years.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class as per department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on 2B ICU, including rounds, assessments and treatments.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Deliver patient and family education and care planning.

Serving CVA, neurosurgical, carotid surgery and carotid stent patients. This unit supports our comprehensive stroke program if the patient needs critical care placement.
