Job summary

UNMH is seeking a Nursing Administrative Supervisor to oversee multiple departments during assigned periods and serve as on-site representative of administration. You will coordinate communication among physicians, staff, patients, and leadership, while promoting problem solving, crisis intervention and resource utilization.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff supervision, and continuous quality improvement to ensure safe patient care across age groups and clinical areas.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and licensure as RN in NM.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient organizational structure and supervise staff.
• Lead staff development and orientation of supervisory personnel.
• Participate in departmental and hospital goals and policies.
• Coordinate communications between physicians, staff, patients, families and Administration.
• Ensure patient safety policies and incident reporting are followed.
• Act as liaison between UNMH stakeholders and external entities.
