Summit Health is seeking a Clinical Office Supervisor, RN to lead daily clinical operations and connect physicians with staff. The role focuses on coordinating schedules, guiding policy adherence, and driving quality in patient care.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, participate in hiring and ongoing training, and collaborate on improvement initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support in day-to-day operations within the clinical setting along with the Pod Liaison, Clinical Coordinator/Department Manager.
• Ensures policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to; ensures staff competency in emergency protocol.
• Completes and populates Physician and staff monthly schedules; maintains the automated schedule; manages PTO requests and overtime.
• Assists in hiring and orientation of new office staff; evaluates clinical staff and conducts annual performance evaluations.
• Collaborates with QA/Practice Transformation and Dept Manager to implement quality improvement plans and monitor dashboards.
• Monitors compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and incident reporting; reports concerns and optimizes resource use.
• Leads IT adoption in the department; supports EMR, Practice Management System and related systems.
• Works with physicians and POD Liaisons to optimize workflow and communications.
• Maintains staff competencies and supports ongoing education and career development.
• Holds monthly POD staff meetings and participates in Department Manager meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
