Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus seeks a Clinical Documentation Specialist RN to ensure quality review of OASIS documents and key Plan of Care elements for CMS program compliance. Collaborates with Quality Improvement leadership to promote regulatory compliance and optimal patient outcomes and reimbursement across the region.

The role emphasizes Oasis expertise, coaching staff, and maintaining readiness for Start of Care, Resumption, and Recertification reviews in a virtual team setting.

Qualifications

• RN license required to practice in WA/CA/OR.
• Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience.
• Minimum 1 year Home Health clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Review Start of Care and Recertification documents for accuracy.
• Perform Discharge OASIS Review.
• Ensure CMS guidelines and billing requirements are met.
• Educate clinical staff on OASIS completion.
• Collaborate with leadership to analyze OASIS performance trends.
• Maintain proficiency in OASIS and Plan of Care processes.
