Job summary
Genesis is seeking an experienced Unit Manager/Director - RN to oversee a nursing unit and support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care. You will lead care delivery, coordinate with physicians and therapy teams, and ensure adherence to regulations and company policies.
Ideal candidates will hold an RN license, be graduates of accredited nursing programs, and demonstrate strong people leadership and operational oversight to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction on the
Qualifications
- Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
- Ensure patient/resident care delivery aligns with mission, values, policies, and regulations.
- Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage human resources in the unit including staffing, performance, disciplinary actions, and minimizing overtime.
