Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Unit Manager/Director - RN to lead a nursing unit within a long-term care setting. You will support the Director of Nursing, oversee care delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive patient/resident and staff satisfaction.

You will collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals while managing staffing, performance, and disciplinary actions to maintain high-quality care. This role requires an active RN license and a nursing degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure patient/resident care delivery complies with mission, values, policies, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Manage unit HR, including overtime limits, staffing, performance, and disciplinary action when necessary.
