Job summary

YAI is seeking a Supervisor - Registered Nurse to oversee day-to-day nursing services, provide clinical leadership, and ensure regulatory compliance across assigned regions. You will supervise RNs and LPNs, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and participate in regional meetings to address evolving patient needs.

The role requires an active RN license, BSN, BLS certification, and experience with EMR systems and Workday.

Qualifications

Valid, active RN license in assigned state (NY or NJ) and current registration.
BSN degree and at least 3 years nursing experience, preferably with I/DD.
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
Proficiency with EMR systems and Workday; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

Oversee safe nursing services and medication administration across assigned caseload in collaboration with leadership teams.
Provide clinical support to program staff and attend regional leadership meetings to address issues.
Ensure adherence to nursing standards and regulations for the region.
Direct supervision of RNs and LPNs; guide performance and development.
Maintain regular communication with nursing staff and enforce job expectations and policies.
Monitor nursing caseloads and propose changes to assign resources as needed.
Travel to programs to observe, assess, and implement nursing plans and provide training.
Participate in hiring, staffing, and HR processes with HR and nursing leadership.
