Requirements include an active CT RN license, a nursing degree, and CPR certification. Duties include maintaining care plans, administering meds as needed, supervising Charge Nurse and CNA staff, and promoting positive resident and family relations.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license to practice in Connecticut.
• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited school.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct total nursing care activities on each shift under the Director of Nursing Services.
• Maintain current resident care plans for all residents under care.
• Follow physician’s orders, render or assist with nursing care and treatments.
• Transcribe orders promptly and accurately; review records daily.
• Supervise Charge Nurse and CNA performances and ensure quality care.
