Job summary

PACS in Florida seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty, ensuring care that meets federal, state, and local standards.

You will direct nursing staff, participate in policy development, QA activities, and collaborate with physicians to plan resident care, discharge planning, and documentation. Must hold an active RN license, CPR certification, and maintain ongoing education; strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• 2 years or more experience preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in this state and CPR certification.
• Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations governing the facility.
• Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating policies and procedures for the nursing service.
• Coordinate with physicians and other staff to plan resident care and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting; participate in QA and committee activities.
