Job summary

Recover-Care Heartland is seeking an RN to lead Nursing Services, ensuring 24-hour supervision and compliance with federal, state, and company standards. You will coordinate resident care plans, supervise staff, and partner with physicians to optimize outcomes.

The role requires Kansas RN licensure, a nursing degree, and supervisory experience in long-term or acute care. You will drive quality initiatives, infection control, and QA activities across the facility.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in Kansas.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans for residents per physician orders and facility policies.
• Oversee 24-hour nursing supervision and ensure quality standards are met.
• Lead infection control surveillance and report trends to QA committees.
• Collaborate with physicians and other departments to improve services and resolve issues.
• Assist in admissions decisions and participate in resident visits as needed.
• Prepare or review QA reports for committees and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Administrator for inspections and corrective actions.
