Job summary

Recover-Care Heartland is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee staff assignments and supervise resident care in our Kansas facility, ensuring the highest quality care by adhering to policies and working under the DON's guidance.

You will handle clinical duties, administration of medications, admissions/transfers/discharges, and daily resident checks, while coordinating with consultants and nursing staff to maintain safe, compassionate, and compliant care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Kansas.
• Strong leadership abilities and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Complete RN records for admissions, transfers, discharges, and events; file and forward to relevant departments.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge logistics, including transportation arrangements.
• Administer professional nursing services per facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with consultants and implement changes under the DON.
• Investigate complaints and provide reports to the DON.
• Exchange nursing reports at shift start and end; maintain daily resident checks.
