Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead nursing services for residents. You will implement orders from physicians, supervise the 24-hour nursing operation, and ensure care meets federal, state, and company standards through meticulous assessment, planning, and evaluation.

In collaboration with the Director of Nursing, you will coordinate patient admissions, supervise staff, and drive infection control, QA activities, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in Kansas.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total care of each resident per physician orders and regulations.
• Communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor compliance.
• Participate in admissions decisions and assist with new resident visits as needed.
• Lead QA activities and infection control programs to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Ensure 24-hour RN coverage and collaborate with other departments to maintain quality care.
