Job summary

Key responsibilities include coordinating resident care plans, ensuring policy compliance, and participating in admissions decisions while maintaining high standards of care and staff performance.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total care of each resident in line with physician orders, regulations and facility policies.
• Communicate and interpret policies to nursing staff, monitor practices and implementation.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visits to prospective residents as needed.
• Attend daily and weekly management meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or complaints.
• Ensure delivery of compassionate quality care and nursing supervision with adequate staff coverage and maintenance of cleanliness and resident function.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
