Job summary

Complete Care at Kimberly Hall South in Windsor, CT is hiring an RN Nursing Supervisor to lead resident care during the 3-11pm shift on Fridays, with 8 hours per week. Long-term care experience and CT RN license required.

You will oversee care planning, staff scheduling, documentation, and family communications while promoting a supportive team environment. We offer growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut.
• Experience in long-term care settings.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and references.

Responsibilities

• Care Needs & Planning: implement and revise care plans, monitor health status, respond to emergencies.
• Staff Oversight & Scheduling: observe assignments, manage coverage, evaluate staff performance, educate and lead.
• Family & Team Liaison: communicate changes to families/providers and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Documentation: review incidents, transcribe orders, audit charges and maintain accuracy.
• Education: explain health status and care expectations to residents and families, guide care skills.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents & Facility:

Care Needs & Planning: Assist to implement & revise care plans, monitors health conditions, supplements direct care needs & responds to emergencies or changes in status

Staff Oversight & Scheduling: Observes care assignments, manages coverage needs, evaluates staff performance, educate & lead staff

Family & Team Liaison: Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team

Documentation: Reviews and investigates incidents, transcribes orders, audits medical charges and maintains record compliance for accuracy

Family, Resident, Staff Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care, guides and direct care skills with intervention as needed
