Qualifications

• BLS required; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates administrative problems and actions to nurse leader and Administrator-On-Call.
• Guides staff on compliance with Nursing Practice Act and company policies.
• Coordinates communications during shifts via huddles and rounds.
• Monitors resource utilization to meet patient care needs.
• Supervises nursing personnel and documents actions for managers.
• Advises nurses on new or unusual treatments and policies.
• Coordinates patient flow and admissions/discharges with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitors staffing for current and upcoming shifts using Float Pool/PRN.
