The Alden Network in Bloomingdale, IL seeks an experienced registered nurse or licensed practical nurse in a leadership role to supervise daily nursing activities and ensure high-quality, compliant patient care.

You will oversee nursing staff, participate in care planning, and coordinate with physicians to deliver safe and compassionate care for residents. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active nursing license (RN or LPN) in Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• Current CPR certification or become certified within two weeks of hire.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and elderly care requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct day-to-day nursing activities.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards and facility policies.
• Provide direct patient care where needed and oversee nursing assistants.
• Maintain documentation and care plans for each resident.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to coordinate care.
• Monitor and enforce infection control and safety protocols.
• Attend care conferences and communicate plans to families.
• Oversee medication administration and charting per policies.
• Maintain a warm, respectful, and therapeutic environment.
