Job summary

Pacific Care Nursing Center in Long Beach, CA is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and to supervise charge nurses and CNAs. You will ensure care delivery aligns with federal, state, and facility guidelines and is directed by the Nursing Director or Supervisor.

Responsibilities include resident assessments, care plan development, medication administration, infection control, safety enforcement, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• Must be CPR certified (card valid).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Demonstrate leadership and supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident assessments and develop care plans per policy.
• Administer medications and nursing interventions as ordered.
• Maintain infection control standards and safety policies.
• Document accurately per federal/state regulations and policy.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate care with CNAs and supervisors.
• Admit/discharge patients as needed and ensure continuity of care.
