Job summary

Long Beach Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to coordinate administrative and clinical functions for residents. You will ensure nursing standards are met, provide vital reports, and establish psychological support for patients and families.

The ideal candidate possesses a nursing degree, has supervisory experience, and is passionate about compassionate care. Benefits include medical, dental, vision care, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred.
• Previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable.
• 1 year RN supervisory experience required.
• Current valid CPR certification required.
• Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in California.

Responsibilities

• Ensure nursing operational standards are met.
• Provide reports on productivity, quality, and customer service metrics.
• Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructions.
• Handle complaints or other issues.

RN Supervisor Summary:

The RN Supervisor coordinates the administrative and clinical functions for a defined resident population and time frame to ensure an effective and efficient environment for residents, family, and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure nursing operational standards are met
• Provide reports on productivity, quality, and customer service metrics
• Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructions
• Handle complaints or other issues
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family, and friends
• Keep records of nurses' files, patients' cases, and procedures
• Handles Admissions
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred
• Previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable
• 1 year RN supervisory experience required
• PCC knowledge and Mastery of admission and care planning process
• Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN program required
• Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in California
• Current valid CPR certification required

Salary Range: $50.00 - $55.00/hr*
