Job summary

Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to lead our nursing team on site. You will oversee clinical operations, develop and monitor care plans, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards in a dynamic long-term and short-term care environment.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of healthcare facility experience, with strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills to support quality resident care and staff development.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare facility or related setting.
• Strong understanding of skilled nursing standards of care.
• Good critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Train, teach, and monitor nurses.
• Manage clinical operations and develop care plans.
• Ensure nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
• Conduct patient rounds and address complaints.
• Evaluate the department's performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local standards.
• Keep patient and employee records updated and accurate.
• Report directly to the Director of Nursing.
