Qualifications

• RN Nursing degree or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and teaching/education experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical competency assessment and training needs for staff.
• Provide education on clinical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting clinical staff.
• Complete annual and orientation competency assessments.
• Oversee preceptor program and trainer development.
• Conduct competency assessments based on patient acuity and outcomes.
• Collaborate with DHS to review learning needs and implement education plans.
• Maintain documentation of staff education per policies and regulations.
