Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school and RN licensure.
• Experience educating patients, families, and staff in a healthcare setting.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification and willingness to obtain instructor cert.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical competency assessment and training needs of staff based on ongoing evaluation and patient needs.
• Provide relevant education on clinical skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Participate in interview and selection process of clinical staff.
• Complete initial competency assessments during orientation and periodically as needed.
• Oversee preceptor program and train staff to serve as preceptors.
