Grandview Rehab and Health Care Center in Connecticut is seeking a dedicated Nurse Educator (RN) to lead education, onboarding, and ongoing competency validation for nursing staff.

You will develop orientation programs, ensure regulatory compliance with state, federal, and CMS standards, and partner with nursing leadership to improve resident outcomes while maintaining thorough training records and survey readiness.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Previous Nurse Educator or staff development experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience with adult learning principles and staff training.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement orientation programs for new nursing staff.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct ongoing education and in-service training.
• Assess and validate clinical competencies of nursing staff.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and improve outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Provide hands-on clinical support and mentorship to staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate education records and training documentation.
• Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance initiatives.
