Grandview Rehab and Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated Nurse Educator (RN) to lead education and training across our skilled nursing team. You will design orientation programs, plan ongoing in-service sessions, validate clinical competencies, and collaborate with nursing leadership to improve resident care and compliance with regulations.

You will mentor staff, maintain education records, support survey readiness, and contribute to QAPI initiatives while promoting adult-learning

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience (long-term care preferred).
• Experience as Nurse Educator, Staff Development Coordinator, or Preceptor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience with adult learning principles and staff training.

Overview

Grandview Rehab and Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Educator (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility team. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering education and training programs to ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality resident care. The Nurse Educator will play a key role in staff development, onboarding, and ongoing competency validation while supporting leadership in achieving operational and clinical goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement orientation programs for new nursing staff
