Job summary

Complete Care Management LLC is hiring an RN Nurse Educator & Infection Preventionist for a full-time day shift in Dover, DE. The role focuses on leading infection prevention initiatives, staff development, and collaboration with facility leadership to safeguard residents, staff, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have RN licensure, LTC experience, and strong independent work abilities, with preferred prior infection prevention experience. Competitive, negotiable salary based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate annual infection prevention goals with facility leadership and medical director.
• Establish a facility-wide system for infection prevention, surveillance, and control.
• Maintain records of staff development programs for personnel.
• Assess learning needs with department heads to meet resident and facility needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the facility leadership and medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate the annual infection prevention goals and action plan.
• Establish a facility-wide system for the prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections of residents, staff, and visitors.This will include surveillance designed to identify possible communicable disease or infections before they spread.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of on-going staff development programs for all personnel within facility.
• Works closely with department heads to assess the on-going learning needs of employees to meet the needs of the residents and the facility.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.
