Job summary

Complete Care, a Long Term Care provider in Towson, MD, is hiring a RN Nurse Educator Infection Preventionist for a full-time day shift. The role requires prior nurse educator, staff development, and infection control experience, with LTC background. Licensure as an RN is mandatory.

The educator will lead staff development programs, collaborate with medical staff, and ensure compliance with all guidelines while fostering professional growth among nursing staff.

Qualifications

• 2yrs Long Term Care Supervisory Experience Required.
• CDC Infection Control training Certified (or willing to obtain within 60d)
• Ability to work independently or part of a group
• Communication skills
• Computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Providing professional and technical guidance to subordinate nursing staff and participates in all management functions of the nursing department
• IP collaborates and consults with physicians, managers, and staff for the management and prevention of infectious diseases.
• Plan, organize, develop, and direct all staff development educational programs throughout the facility.
• Providing learning opportunities that will enable all employees to gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to perform their assigned duties safely and effectively.
• Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
