Complete Care - MidAtlantic in Dover, Delaware is seeking an RN Nurse Educator & Infection Preventionist for a full-time, day shift. You will collaborate with facility leadership to set infection prevention goals and manage staff development programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of staff development programs.

Now Hiring: RN Nurse Educator & Infection Preventionist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the facility leadership and medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate the annual infection prevention goals and action plan.
• Establish a facility-wide system for the prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections of residents, staff, and visitors. This will include surveillance designed to identify possible communicable disease or infections before they spread.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of on-going staff development programs for all personnel within facility.
• Works closely with department heads to assess the on-going learning needs of employees to meet the needs of the residents and the facility.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Qualifications

• Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required.

License

• Must have an Active RN Registered Nurse license.
