Job summary

Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, Inc. in Harrisonburg, Virginia, seeks an RN Nurse Educator to plan, develop, coordinate, track and evaluate education programs for Supportive Living, including Transitional Care, Complete Living Care, and Assisted Living.

This role oversees both licensed and unlicensed staff and ensures compliance with standards and regulations. Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, plus on-call rotation for weekends/holidays; approximately 80 hours per pay period;

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Virginia with BSN preferred.
• Two years of clinical/supervisory experience in Senior Living.
• Experience with geriatrics, long-term care, transitional care.
• Ability to train using multiple methods (e-learning, classroom, on-site).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, track, and evaluate education programs.
• Serve as clinical resource for Supportive Living.
• Deliver education using various methods (e-learning, classroom, videos).
• Ensure compliance with Virginia and US regulations.
• Maintain relationships with leadership, staff, residents, vendors, and community members.
