Job summary
Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, Inc. is seeking a Night Shift LPN or RN to coordinate residents’ care and uphold quality nursing standards.
As part of the Nursing Leadership team, you will mentor nurses and CNAs, participate in performance reviews, and support ongoing quality improvement across Woodland Park and Transitional Care. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure compassionate, compliant care for residents.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing with a current Virginia nursing license.
- Experience in long-term care/SNF preferred.
- Strong supervisory and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee residents' care in accordance with nursing standards and DSS guidance.
- Mentor and coach nurses and CNAs across Woodland Park and Transitional Care.
- Complete performance reviews for supervised staff as part of leadership responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Leadership team to implement quality improvement initiatives.
