Job summary

Roman Eagle Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Danville, VA, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our nursing team during evening and night shifts. You will mentor staff, uphold clinical standards, and ensure compassionate resident care.

The role requires an active Virginia RN license, a degree from an accredited program, and prior nursing leadership experience, preferably in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least one year of nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff during your assigned shift.
• Ensure high-quality, compassionate resident care meeting standards.
• Coordinate staffing assignments and maintain coverage.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate with physicians and families.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning.
• Coach and develop nursing staff through orientation and training.
• Participate in QA and PI initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Serve as nursing leader on duty when nursing administration is absent.
