Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Behavioral Health in North Carolina. This full-time night shift offers a 3x12 schedule (7p–7a) with rotating holidays and weekends. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for new grads; $20,000 for night-shift experienced RNs who commit for two years.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina or compact RN license required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Must work well under stress and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on condition.
• Complete timely documentation of medical necessity in the chart.
• Develop and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for each patient.
• Conduct timely and accurate QI assessments.
