Job summary

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health in Greenville, SC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 156-bed behavioral health system dedicated to psychiatric and substance abuse care.

You will administer medications, perform nursing assessments, support crisis management, and help maintain a therapeutic milieu. Night shifts include every other weekend; ADN/BSN and SC RN license required, with 0–1 year experience preferred and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN in nursing required.
• South Carolina RN license with current registration required; multi‑state license with SC in compact is acceptable.
• 0–1 year of experience required; 2+ years preferred in psychiatric patient care.
• Successful completion of required safety and CPR training before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications prescribed by physician.
• Completes nursing assessments and updates treatment plans.
• Maintains the therapeutic milieu and facilitates community meetings.
• Documents patient care accurately for all related programs.
• Manages psychiatric crisis emergency situations effectively.
