Job summary

PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during the 6p-2a shift in a long-term care facility. The role requires directing nursing services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and collaborating with the DON/ADON as needed.

Essential duties include developing policies, ensuring current reference materials, preparing reports, and coordinating with care teams to sustain resident well-being and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have current RN license to practice in the state.
• CPR certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Assist in directing the nursing services to meet resident needs and quality care requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and update written policies and procedures for the nursing service department.
• Prepare and submit reports and recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Participate in committees and coordinate with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
