Job summary

PACS Group in Waco, TX seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities in our long-term care facility. You will direct nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with physicians to develop and update resident care plans.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred (2+ years).
• Knowledge of PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Direct nursing staff and coordinate with DON/ADON as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards and regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and facility surveys.
• Prepare reports and communicate with physicians, residents, and families.
• Assist in discharge planning and resident admissions/ transfers/ discharges.
